wrapper.syslog.ident

Used to specify the identity field used in syslog entries. The default is the value of wrapper.name property to provide backwards compatibility.

Example:
wrapper.syslog.ident=myapp

In most cases, users do not need to set this property themselves as it is set in the shell script which is shipped with the Wrapper.

If the value specified is greater than 32 characters in length, it will be quietly trimmed to 32 characters. This is needed to avoid problems with syslog servers. (See RFC 3164 section 4.1.3)
